colors of the day and night

There's a lump in my throat
My eyes are filled with tears just thinking about my turtle,
Tortellini
He died on the 30th of July, 2009
I miss looking at him
I miss watching him eat his food
He looked so silly with all that Kale in his mouth
I wish I had a time machine that would take me back
So I could see him
I wonder how they'll treat him in heaven
Or if he goes to heaven at all?
I wish I could be with him again
It's hard to lose a pet you liked
All I have now is a fish that doesn't like me at all
All he is is something to care for
He's not entertaining
He's not even good company
My frog, who died in July too, was entertaining
I wish I could have another pet besides the fish
Not sure why mom doesn't let me
If I could, I'd get a hamster or a rat
They'd be entertaining
And good company too
